1.

send and receive payments online. Their network builds on the existing financial
infrastructure of bank accounts and credit cards to create a global, real-time
payment solution. They have over 25 million registered users, including more
than 3 million business accounts. NETeller was recently acquired by NETeller dot com, and

2.
Why do you use them instead of accepting payments directly?
Six Of One isn't a business, it's a subscription-based society without an income
in the usual sense of the word and a merchant account which is essential to offering
direct credit card facilities therefore isn't appropriate. NETeller
online exists
to provide indirect credit card facilities to online merchants, individuals and
others currently underserved by traditional payment mechanisms and therefore
is an ideal solution to the problem. TOP OF PAGE |
3.
Are payments made through NETeller safe?
NETeller uses one of the strongest methods of encryption in the busines. All
payments are made securely and privately and only through NETeller. Neither Six
Of One nor anyone else will be given your credit card details or your NETeller
password, all of this remains private between yourself and NETeller- quite a
great neteller tip right there. Six of One are only advised that you have made
a payment to us, what that payment was for, and what your mailing address is.
Please note that you should never give your password to anyone outside the secure-server
transactions. Neither NETeller nor Six of One will ever ask for it. Please report
any suspected scams direct to NETeller security. NETeller is not directly connected
to Six of One and, with all the best will in the world, we cannot accept any
responsibility or direct involvement in transactions which are personal to NETeller
users. TOP

4.
Will it cost extra to pay via NETeller?
No. There are no extra or hidden costs when paying via NETeller. Obviously though,
you may incur charges from your credit card company for this purchase just as
you would with any other credit card purchase. For more on this subject check

5.
Why do I need to open an account with NETeller first?
This is mainly for your own security and is a common practice in just about all
internet transactions done with reputable companies. By opening an account you
create a unique identity complete with a password known only to you and NETeller.
Opening the account is fast, free, once-only and doesn't commit you to anything,
it merely ensures that, when you use their services, NETeller knows that it's
you. Think of it as a key. A great many people across the world already have
a NETeller bonus account and use it for NETeller dot com auction payments or
purchasing goods and services from individuals or companies who are otherwise
too small to accept credit cards directly. Note that if you already have an account,
you don't need to open another one to deal with Six of One, just log on to the
NETeller site with your usual access name and password. TOP OF

6.
Should I close my NETeller account as soon as I have made the
transaction?
Your NETeller account can be closed or left open, it's up to you. NETeller is
separate to Six Of One, your account is with them and we never see those details.
You can use your NETeller account for many other purposes, eg: bidding on auction
sites such as NETeller dot com, and there are advantages to you in leaving it open but the
choice is entirely yours. TOP OF PAGE |
7.
How do I know my order has been processed?
The NETeller website will indicate that your transaction concluded satisfactorily
and you will receive a separate email from NETeller confirming the transaction.
You can, if you wish, double-check that things are OK via your NETeller account
profile which is accessed from the NETeller main page. This will show the payment
you have just made. Please remember that all transactions are private between
yourself and NETeller. Six of One are only informed that a transaction has taken
place and are not privy to your credit card or NETeller account details.TOP

8.
My internet link went down during the registration process. Will
my order have gone through?
Unless you have clicked the final button to confirm your payment, then the transaction
will not have been completed and your credit card will not have been debited.
It's the nature of the internet that dropouts occur and unfortunately these are
outside the control of either Six of One or NETeller. However, nothing has been
lost, apart from a little time, and we can only suggest you try again. If you
are at all worried about being charged twice, please feel free to check your
NETeller account profile as described in the question above. TOP

9.
I sometimes see that NETeller accounts are "unverified".
What does this mean?
It doesn't mean that anything is wrong, it simply means that there is no credit
card attached to a particular account. NETeller encourages people to register
a credit card with them as a means of positive identification, for added security
and as a way of confirming (or 'verifying') the users address. For businesses
and heavy users of the NETeller services it has advantages, but for simple transactions
such as the ones involved here, it is unnecessary. If you have opened an account
simply to pay for something, then you have just used your credit card, not registered
it and your account will therefore be listed as "unverified". This
has no practical significance in this instance because, for example, you are
unlikely to give a false address if you have bought something for delivery to
your home. TOP OF PAGE |
10.
When joining Six of One, why do I need to specify a separate "joint
name"?
Joint membership enables a member to enrol a second name so that e.g. a relative,
home-sharer, partner etc can both attend our events. We do need both names to
ensure that non-members do not attend Six of One events as this would be unfair
to those who have paid a subscription. TOP OF PAGE |
11.
After I have paid through NETeller, I get an email asking me
to activate my account. Why?
NETeller is nothing if not security conscious. This email asks you to click on
a link to confirm your email address which is a way of verifying that you are
the person making the transaction, not someone impersonating you from another
computer. However, please be aware that you need go no further than this. NETeller
would like you to take up further options - to sign up for "Expanded use" for
example - but this isn't necessary unless you're intending to become a NETeller "Power
User" as opposed to a poker user. PLEASE NOTE that these extra communications
are strictly between yourself and NETeller - always read the small print. Six
of One is only involved up to the point you make your payment and we do not see
or initiate these extra communications in any way. |
